Botox Dysport

The Botox or Dysport procedure is a quick, non-surgical treatment typically performed in a medical office and lasting about 10 to 20 minutes. After a brief consultation to discuss your goals and assess your facial muscle movement, the provider cleanses the skin and may apply a numbing cream if desired, though most patients tolerate the treatment without it. Using a fine needle, small amounts of Botox or Dysport are injected into targeted facial muscles—commonly in areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), and around the eyes (crow’s feet). The injections temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles, helping to smooth and soften their appearance. There is minimal discomfort, and patients can typically resume normal activities immediately afterward, although they are advised to avoid rubbing the area or lying down for several hours post-treatment.
